At ODEON Software & Technology, I worked between business teams and developers on tourism software. I wrote requirements and user stories, made Axure prototypes to work through interface questions and tested web services with Postman and SOAP UI.
I used the prototypes to make requirements easier to discuss before development. For the service side, I worked with requests and responses directly, checking how the behaviour matched the intended flow. That combination of a screen people could react to and a service call we could inspect helped make the discussions more concrete.
A booking journey crosses several systems, so a lot of my time went into understanding what each service expected and helping the team agree on how the pieces should fit together.
