I worked on Q from the card-payment systems side at IBTech / QNB Finansbank. Our team supplied the banking data the assistant needed. I helped map the requirements to the source systems, prepare the functional designs and test the integration with the teams consuming that data.
That meant working through what a customer-facing answer needed from the underlying payment records. Q’s payment reminders and account alerts are good examples of why that connection matters. The product continued to develop after my involvement; QNB’s 2023 announcement about Q’s customer experience award gives a useful picture of where it went.
Most of my contribution happened behind the assistant’s interface. I worked through which source fields a requirement depended on, how those values would be mapped and what the receiving system should expect. Checking that agreement at the integration boundary was as much a part of the job as writing the initial specification.
For a closer look at my analysis style, I wrote an example integration contract and test cases with made-up fields and records.
